🚨 Reminder: Refund Deadline, Late Fees & Quebec Players

Posted Saturday, November 14

Just a reminder regarding the deadline for full refunds, late fees and players from Quebec.

Full Refunds

In order to qualify for a full refund you must contact the association before the end of rec evaluations this week, as long as your child doesn't step on the ice. If your child steps on the ice or for any refund request after evaluations, the refund is as indicated on our refund policy page: 50% of (registration fee - 20%).

Please note that this does not apply for Listuguj/Pointe-à-la-Croix given the circumstances with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Late Fees

A late fee of $100 will be applied to any new registrations after evaluations are completed and teams are formed.

Listuguj/Pointe-à-la-Croix Players

For any players that split their time between Quebec and New Brunswick (ie shared custody) unfortunately we have been informed by Public Health that they cannot play hockey until advised otherwise. While attending school is allowed in these circumstances because it is deemed essential, we have been told this doesn't apply for hockey.

We are working to get a definitive answer and hopefully a reversal of this policy. Please note that for any parents affected by this the full refund deadline would also not apply until the matter gets resolved.
