Respect in Sports
For Parents
One parent or guardian per child must complete the Respect in Sports for parents online course before December 1st of the current season. Course can be taken here: https://hnbparent.respectgroupinc.com
If you've already taken the course before, you may need to add child to you profile by following these steps:
- Login to the Respect Group Inc. site: https://hnbparent.respectgroupinc.com
- Choose “Profile” from top horizontal menu, then "Child Management” in the Profile page.
- Click the “Add Child” button at bottom of page.
- Add child’s coordinates and save.

For Activity Leaders
Any member of the coaching staff or on-ice volunteers must completed the Respect in Sports Activity Leader online: https://hnb.respectgroupinc.com. Must be completed before December 15th of the current season. Once completed, fill out the expense claim form to get reimbursed.
Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check
Print the request letter below and bring it to the local RCMP office to get your criminal record check (CRC) and vulnerable sector check (VSC) process started.
Must be completed before December 15th of the current season.

Coach Level 1 and 2
All U7 and U9 head coaches and assistants must complete the Hockey Canada Coach Level 1 certification. For divisions U11 and above, the Hockey Canada Coach Level 2 certification must also completed. Courses must be completed before December 15th of the current season.
