End of Year Games/League Championship

During a North Shore Minor Hockey League meeting last night (March 4^th) we decided on a format for resuming play if we go back to the yellow phase on March 8^th. We all agreed that we would like to have the kids play as much as possible and finish the season on a positive note while playing for the league championship. We will start with round robin and followed by an elimination bracket that will take place during the next 3 or 4 weeks.

• Teams can only play one other team per day. If you need to cancel a game, you can not play two games, unless it's against the same team.
• Cancelled games have to be replayed before March 23rd during round robin phase. If not, the game will be logged as a 2-2 tie in the standings.
• Some games will need to be played on weeknights and the amount of practices will be reduced.

• Double round robin
• Semi-final and final elimination
• Minimum 7 games

U18 Rec, U11 Comp & U13 Comp gets a single game round robin and followed by the elimination playoffs as outlined below.

U11 Comp

• 1^st & 2^nd place get bye to semi-finals, 3^rd vs 6^th and 4^th vs 5^th quarter finals followed by semi-finals/finals bracket
• Minimum 6 games

U13 Comp

• 1^st place get bye to semi-finals, 2^nd vs 7^th, 3^rd vs 6^th and 4^th vs 5^th quarter finals followed by semi-finals/finals bracket
• Minimum 7 games

U18 Rec

• Top four go into semi-finals/final elimination bracket
• Minimum 7 games
