Additional information on U13/U15 Tryouts and U18 ID Camp

U13 (Peewee)/U15 (Bantam)

So far there has been very little interest in Comp teams for the U13/U15 divisions. Only 9 players have expressed interest in U13 and three in U15. However, we decided to hold tryouts to give players/parents a last chance to change their mind and as a way of avoiding any future blowbacks from the league, should other association ever accuse us of deliberately trying to strengthen our recreational teams. If the level of interest remains insufficient, parents will be reimbursed for any unused tryouts ice-time.

If you would like your child to participate at tryouts, please contact us.

U18 (Midget) AA ID Camp

As of now, the U18 division is the least predictable. Registrations are usually late for this age group, and the pandemic situation and how it affects the French High Schools schools creates a lot additional uncertainties that have kept the numbers low. We know PRP is going ahead with their program but for AQV we won't know for sure until the end of October if they are going ahead or not. From we know now, High Schools will not be playing any games until November 10th at the earliest.

Given this situation we think that despite low registration numbers there's a good chance that there are many players out there would prefer to play with competitively with minor hockey given the opportunity.

Please note that for the U18 AA ID camp, there is a $15 fee to step on the ice but registration is not required.
