Full Press Release

On behalf of the RNMHA, we would like to advise our members and the public that we have met with Campbellton City Council Monday, October 23 to discuss options for this hockey season and the issues relating to the leisure cards. We have come to the conclusion that our common ground lies within the importance of our youth in our communities.

Consequently, the city has decided to re-establish ice rentals for our Arnold Maisey Bantam/Midget home tournament in February as well as the Initiation/Novice Jamboree in March, with both tournaments being exempted from leisure cards. We have also collaborated on the decision to house a local initiation and novice team from the Campbellton Regional Memorial Civic Center. Teams will be posted on our website as soon as they are finalized. Any exhibition games, including league games, will continue to be played at the Dalhousie arena.
