RIP Matt Simonson
We are sad to announce the passing of Matthew “Matt” Louis Simonson of Eel River Bar. Matt was a well known, respected and beloved figure in our local hockey community. His presence will be sorely missed. We would like to offer our sincerest condolences to the family.
We are honoured and humbled that the family has asked for donations in his memory to be made to the Minor Hockey Association.
Details on visitations and funeral times are available online.
A statement about leisure cards
Based on the information we have concerning the city of Campbellton imposing user fees to members from outside of Campbellton; the RNMHA council remains adamant that our role is solely to serve our clientele and not collect any user fee, nor endorse it. We are a non-profit organization led by volunteers, we do not have any implications in the political views and decisions that the Campbellton council is considering imposing. Our clients information is strictly minor hockey, HNB and hockey Canada's business and will not be shared with any other parties.
